The basics

Before You Book

How does the $99 diagnostic credit actually work?

You pay $99 for the visit and diagnosis. If you approve the written quote, that $99 is subtracted from it — so a $280 quote becomes $181 more due on completion. If you decline the repair, the $99 is all you owe. There's no scenario where you pay the fee twice or on top of the full quote.

Can I really get a same-day appointment?

Often, yes — on weekdays. Our routes leave slack for same-day calls, and a morning phone call has the best odds. What we won't do is promise a same-day slot we can't honor; if today is genuinely full, you'll hear tomorrow's first honest window instead.

Why don't you work weekends?

Because the weekday-route model is what keeps our windows tight and our vans correctly stocked. Spreading the same crew across seven days would mean vaguer windows and more second visits for everyone. If your situation can't wait until Monday, say so when you call — we'll tell you honestly whether the appliance can safely sit.

Which brands do you repair?

The fifteen-plus brands Tri-Cities homes actually own: Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, Frigidaire, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Bosch, Electrolux, Amana, Speed Queen, Hotpoint, Magic Chef and Insignia among them. If yours is rarer, call with the model number — the answer is usually still yes, occasionally with a parts-order day added.

What warranty comes with a repair?

Every job leaves with warranty coverage in writing — the installed part and our labor both. Should that repair act up inside the window, we come back and square it at zero cost. The terms are printed on your invoice, not implied over the phone.

Do you sell used appliances or haul away dead ones?

Neither — we're a repair shop, deliberately. What we will do is tell you honestly when a machine isn't worth fixing, point you at what to look for in a replacement, and leave the old unit disconnected and ready for the retailer's haul-away crew.

Should I try fixing it myself first?

Cleaning a drain filter, vacuuming condenser coils, checking a breaker — absolutely, and our service pages tell you which symptoms those steps can cure. Past that, modern appliances mix live voltage, gas and sealed refrigerant. The $99 diagnostic exists precisely so finding the real fault doesn't cost you a parts-cannon of guesses.

How should I prepare for the visit?

Clear a path to the appliance, know roughly when the symptom started, and have the model number handy if it's easy to reach. For laundry machines, leave the failed load as-is — the evidence helps. The technician brings floor protection, tools and the day's stocked parts.
